A Message from the Commander
Thank you for visiting our
website. I hope you find the information
within these pages very informative. A
little about what we do; support our local veterans and community in various
ways. We have several programs that offer
scholarships to young men and women. We
also support our local schools.
Our Post Family is made up of
veterans and their families that served in all branches of the military. We organize and present fundraising functions
to provide sponsorship and support for numerous civic veteran and non-veteran
groups.
Our Post Home consists of three
lounges where our members and friends may come for various sorts of
entertainment. Our Mini Bar hosts Wednesday night bid whist
and spade card games; Friday night Karaoke; our Legion Lounge provides DJ and dancing, all open to the
general public. Then we have our Blue Room Lounge, which is strictly for
members only and their guest. We also
entertain any member of the American Legion, Auxiliary or SAL carrying current
card issued by another Post.
If you
are in our area, please, stop in and say hello. If you are not a member, but
are eligible to join, we hope you do so. Membership eligibility in The American Legion is based on honorable federal active duty service with the U.S.
Military.
